To kill a mockingbird I-search
While I was reading and looking for something that made me interested I didn’t really find anything other that the “The Grey Ghost” reference so I decided to do my I-search project on it.
The Gray Ghost is one of a series of children’s adventure books written in the 1920s and early 30’s by Seckatary Hawkins about a fun-loving gang of kids who have adventures and meet interesting folks. The story takes place on a ship; and that that two of the characters are Three-Fingered Fred and Stoner’s Boy. Stoner’s Boy is alot like Boo Radley he had been accused of crimes; that “they all thought it was Stoner’s Boy messin’ up their clubhouse and throwin’ ink all over it…” and no one has seen him commit any crimes. Stoner’s boy had never really done anything wrong. People had just misjudged him. It was the very thing that people had done to Boo Radley.
Dill bet Jem The Grey Ghost against two Tom Swifts that Jem wouldn’t get any farther than the Radley’s gate. In all of Jems life, Jem hadn’t refused a dare. Later in the book Atticus reads the book to Scout which turns into the moral of the story.
